We also have around 10 club competitions played on our green throughout the summer. These consist of both merits and handicaps for singles and pairs and are enjoyed by everyone, from established bowlers to novices and everyone in between.
Our Pool
Our pool team currently play in the Huddersfield and district league, playing international rules.
We have a 7ft supreme pool table.
The table is currently fitted with a grey hainsworth match cloth. The table is reclothed twice a year by one of the country’s top table fitters.
We also play annual knockout competitions and have a mini league for club members.
Our Club
Our Bowling & Social club was founded in 1913 and currently has over 300 members. It sits in the centre of Outlane village which is served by bus routes 536, 537, 900 and 901 from Huddersfield, Halifax and Hebden Bridge.
In addition to three hand-pulled real ales, our other draught beers are Guinness, Carling, Coors, Birra Moretti plus Dark Fruits and Strongbow cider. Our fridges stock other bottled beers and ciders, wines and a selection of soft drinks. We also serve Tassimo coffee and hot chocolate.
Our club shows top sport via Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video and also has free wi-fi. Dominoes and playing cards are available and frequently used. We also have a top quality pool table and a dartboard.
